MIRAMBELO
Grape varieties: Kotsifali & Mandilaria
Region: Agios Vasilios, Houdetsi, Kalloni.
Terroir: Altitude of over 400m, hillside vineyards, argil clay of exceptional draining, Royat trim, yields of 30-65hl/ha. The vineyards originate from 15 year old vines that give rich and full-bodied wines.
Oenology: Typical red winemaking at controlled low extraction temperature of long duration. Maturation for 12 months in new French and American barriques of 225lt and 300lt.
Name: Its name was inspired by the spring aromas (“myra”= aromas) of the freshly bloomed vines (“ambelos”=vine).
Personality: Shiny ruby colour. The fine aromas of spices and dry fruits, typical for the Kotsifali grapes, are coupled in harmony with the aromas of tobacco and vanilla from the oak barriques. Balanced and rounded mouth and long- lasting aftertaste.
